Privacy Policy

Definitions

"Developer" hereby means the publisher of the app – Nik Satyr.
"App" hereby means "Volume Control: Notification & Floating Widget" app.
"SDK" hereby means any third-party code that is used by the app.
"User" hereby means any person who installed the app from Google Play Store.
"Data" hereby means any information sent to the developer and/or third-party SDK.

How is data collected?

Your data is collected and then securely transferred using the world-trusted ads network: AdMob by Google. Furthermore, we intentionally use an older version of their SDK that does not support app measurement since we do not want you to share any redundant data.

What data is collected?

The developer is only able to see countries where the app is installed. We would like to note that this data is not associated with user's identity and represents only aggregated statistics. However, AdMob SDK may collect additional data which is not accessible by the developer.

Why is this data collected?

This data helps us to provide you with better ads and understand the global distribution of the app.

Is collected data shared with third party services?

Except for developer, collected data is used by AdMob SDK for ads serving. We do not share any data with any other third party service except AdMob SDK.

GDPR

Note: this paragraph only applies to users located in the EU

Following the GDPR requirements, the app provides a possibility to opt out of personalized ads serving for users that are located in the EEA. During the launch the app checks whether the user is located in the EU. If the previous is true and user has not yet expressed consent to receive personalized ads, the user will be prompted to select between personalized and non-personalized ads serving. This setting can be reset in the in-app "Miscellaneous" section.

Updating the privacy policy

We reserve the right to change any paragraph of this privacy policy at any time. However, we will not ever use any kind of user’s personal data such as name, email etc. without their explicit permission.
